Jamie Foxx Stars as an Attorney in Triumphant Film 'The Burial' Trailer

Prime Video has revealed an official trailer for The Burial, the second feature film from filmmaker Maggie Betts following Novitiate a few years ago. This one is premiering at the 2023 Toronto Film Festival kicking off this weekend, which is why there's a trailer to watch now. It'll also be released, both in theaters and streaming on Prime Video, this fall. Inspired by true events, a lawyer helps a funeral home owner save his family business from a corporate behemoth, exposing a complex web of race, power, and injustice. The impressive cast features Jamie Foxx as the smooth-talking attorney Willie E. Gary, with Tommy Lee Jones, Jurnee Smollett, Alan Ruck, Mamoudou Athie, Pamela Reed, and Bill Camp.
