Awkwafina & Sandra Oh in Fun Gameshow Comedy 'Quiz Lady' Trailer

"How many hearts does an octopus have?" 20th Century has released the official trailer for a crazy fun comedy called Quiz Lady, a new film from filmmaker Jessica Yu (director of one my favorite underrated indie comedies Ping Pong Playa). This is heading straight to streaming on Hulu later this fall, after first premiering at the 2023 Toronto Film Festival - which kicks off this week. A gameshow-obsessed woman and her estranged sister work together to help cover their mother's gambling debts - using her dog as leverage. They set out on a wild, cross-country trek to get the cash the only way they know how: by turning Anne into a bona-fide gameshow champion. Co-starring Awkwafina and Sandra Oh, with Jason Schwartzman, Holland Taylor, Tony Hale, and Will Ferrell as one of the big gameshow hosts.
