Directed by Shawn Levy, the book has so much that they've split this into a four-part series - essentially two features that will be debuting as a mini-series later this year. He even says in this video that he pretty much went and made one, long 4-hour movie. All the Light We Cannot See tells the story of the extraordinary power of human connection. Over the course of a decade, it focuses on the lives of Marie-Laure Leblanc, a blind French girl taking refuge with her uncle, and Werner Pfennig, a brilliant German teenager with an expertise in radio repair. Through a shared secret connection, they find faith in humanity and the possibility of hope. Starring Louis Hofmann as Werner, Lars Eidinger, Marion Bailey, with Hugh Laurie, Mark Ruffalo, and introducing Aria Mia Loberti as Marie-Laure. This behind-the-scenes preview focuses on how they cast real blind actors to bring this exceptionally moving story to the screen. Looks like it's going to be magnificent - I'll be watching. // Continue Reading ›
