First Trailer for Legal Thriller 'Prosecution' About Germany's Far-Right

"Why do you not trust your own department?" Screen has revealed the first official trailer for an acclaimed German indie film titled Prosecution, a legal thriller about the far-right & racism in Germany. Also titled Staatsschutz in German, the film premiered at the 2026 Berlin Film Festival earlier this year, obviously, to mostly good reviews. I'm a big fan of this one – I called it a "Lean, Mean, Gripping Legal Thriller" in my review. Prosecution follows Seyo Kim, a German public prosecutor, who is determined to confront far-right violence in eastern Germany with the resources of the state. But when she survives a racist attack on her own life, Seyo takes matters into her own hands – putting her life further at risk. She goes full-on trying to bring down a far-right neo-Nazi network, only to discover it isn't so easy in Germany's so called "objective" legal system. Throughout the trial, Seyo learns firsthand what it means to entrust the pursuit of justice to a state that applies double standards and not only downplays far-right violence, but at times even protects it. It's a fascinating look at just how unfair the law can be. The film stars Chen Emilie Yan as Seyo, Julia Jentsch, Alev Irmak, Arnd Klawitter, and Sebastian Urzendowsky. A worthy contender for the title of 'Best boxing movie ever made.'" A young ambitious boxer named Tenma accidentally kills an ex-boxing champion's brother. He then approaches the ex-champ to train him to become the next champion. Starring Bunta Sugawara and Kentarô Shimizu. This fresh new HD upgrade features new and improved English subtitle translation, an essay, a Toei video, and more. I like this synopsis for it much more: In the midst of a match, a successful boxer - Hayato, has had enough of the sport. He lets himself get knocked, quits boxing, leaving his wife and start living alone with his mangy dog. One day a young mediocre boxer knocks at the door and wants to be Hayato's apprentice. Angel Studios has revealed their full official trailer for the movie Hershey, a retelling of the origin story of the famous Hershey chocolate company located in Pennsylvania. This actual trailer is a major improvement over the original teaser, which was so bad it seemed like a fake movie. This trailer promises rich & engaging story, about a candy maker hitting his stride creating tasty milk chocolate right when everyone didn't care much about eating chocolate. It began in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in as a candy shop in 1873, evolved into a caramel company in 1883, with Hershey Chocolate as its subsidiary. The very first Hershey's Milk Chocolate bar was created in 1900. The film depicts this history of The Hershey Co, built by its founder Milton & his wife Kitty, and how their vision changed the world. I'm sure it did. A film by Mark Waters, the main cast features Finn Wittrock as Milton S. Hershey, Alexandra Daddario as Catherine "Kitty" Hershey, Alan Ruck, Richard Kind, David Costabile, Heléne Yorke. Set during 13th-century England, a mysterious creature stalks a foggy countryside transforming local folklore into terrifying reality as villagers face an ancient supernatural threat. Eggers' "most visceral and haunting experience yet" is a harrowing tale of devotion, damnation and the devil within. Werwulf stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson as the cursed farmer, Lily-Rose Depp, Willem Dafoe, and Ralph Ineson, with Jack Morris, Bodhi Rae Breathnach, Jan Bijvoet, and Ritchi Edwards. The dialogue is all in old Middle English and is Eggers' "darkest script he has ever written." "They say that once you enter the palace, you leave only in death." Netflix has revealed the teaser trailer for The East Palace series, a historic action fantasy series from Korea. Created and made entirely in Korea, this new thirller series will be out to watch worldwide on Netflixk starting in July coming right away this summer. From director Choi Jung-kyu, The East Palace follows Gu-cheon, who moves between the realms of the living and the dead (he's a "ghost-slayer"), and Saeng-gang, a lady of the court guarding a secret of her own. When the king calls on them to unravel the mysteries within the palace, they’re drawn into a world where power, hidden histories, and restless spirits are bound together by a dangerous curse. Nam Joo-hyuk plays Gu-cheon, who investigates unnerving incidents at the palace with a blade that can cut down ghosts. Roh Yoon-seo plays Saeng-gang, whose ability to hear the voices of the dead aids Gu-cheon as they navigate the palace’s long-buried secrets. Also starring Cho Seung-woo and Park Su-yeon. They end up being lead to a dark realm and must confront the truth hiding underneath the pond. French Feel-Good Musical Comedy 'The Marching Band' US Trailer

"Run a school? A dunce like me?" Greenwich Entertainment debuted an official US trailer for the acclaimed French comedy film titled The Marching Band in English, also called En Fanfare in French, releasing in US theaters later this summer. It first premiered at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival a few years ago, finally getting a US theater run after a bit of a wait. This feel-good story about two estranged brothers reconnecting over music. Acclaimed conductor Thibaut has leukemia and needs a bone marrow donor. Learning he was adopted, he finds an older brother – a trombone musician and factory worker in a small town. Their reunion sparks a fraternal, musical journey amidst the town's factory closure. The film already became a huge hit in France back in 2024 – it earned an impressive €18 million at the French box office and was nominated for 7 César Awards in total, including Best Film & Best Actor. The Marching Band stars Benjamin Lavernhe, Pierre Lottin, Sarah Suco, and Jacques Bonnaffé. Struggling as his powers start to get out of control (maybe even Dark Spidey might show up?).
