Extra UK Trailer for France's 'Anatomy of a Fall' Starring Sandra Hüller

"I didn't realize it was so high..." "Yeah." Picturehouse in the UK has unveiled a new official UK trailer for the acclaimed French drama Anatomy of a Fall. There has already been one US trailer from last month, but now that a UK date is set, it's getting another promo. The film is the big Palme d'Or winner this year from the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, and it's also playing at TIFF and NYFF. The legal procedural thriller is about a German woman who's suspected of her husband's murder after he falls out a window in their French Alps mountain home. Their blind son faces a moral dilemma as the sole witness, though only from what he heard. The story is very clearly inspired by real life the case of Michael Peterson (with the gender swapped for his character), which was covered in The Staircase series. The film stars Sandra Hüller as Sandra, joined by Swann Arlaud, Milo Machado Graner, Antoine Reinartz, and Samuel Theis, directed by Justine Triet. It's one of the most talked about films of 2023 and will likely pull in audiences curious to find out what it's all about. Opening in the US in October, then in the UK on November 10th this fall.
