"If you get into one of my cars, you get in to win." Neon has unveiled the first teaser trailer for the Ferrari movie, the latest film from iconic director Michael Mann. This will be premiering in a few days at the 2023 Venice Film Festival as one of the festival's big highlights - since it was shot entirely in Italy and it's about a super famous Italian man. Mann's Ferrari is set in the summer of 1957. Behind the spectacle of Formula 1, ex-racer Enzo Ferrari is now in crisis. Bankruptcy threatens the factory he and his wife, Laura, built from nothing ten years earlier. Their volatile marriage is battered by the loss of their son, Dino. Ferrari struggles to acknowledge another with Lina Lardi. Meanwhile, his drivers' passions to win pushes them to the edge as they launch into the treacherous 1,000-mile race across Italy, the Mille Miglia. Starring Adam Driver as Enzo, Penélope Cruz as Laura Ferrari, Shailene Woodley as Lina Lardi, and Sarah Gordon as Linda Christian, plus Gabriel Leone, Jack O'Connell, Patrick Dempsey, and Gabriel Leone. Huh – so is there a single actual Italian person in this cast at all? This is a very nice dialogue free teaser trailer, except for the last line, I just hope this film is actually good.
