Official US Trailer for Brutal Horror Film 'Megalomaniac' from Belgium

"I finished my work. I'll be taking care of you." Dark Star Pictures has revealed the official US trailer for Megalomaniac, a brutal, gory, hyper violent horror film from Belgium. Written & directed by filmmaker Karim Ouelhaj, this originally premiered at the 2022 Fantasia Film Festival last year - where it won the Jury Prize for Best Feature Film. This violent and dark serial killer film utilizes the backdrop of an unsolved true crime. Martha and Félix are the children of the Butcher of Mons, a notorious Belgian serial killer from the 1990s. Her brother decides to carry on their father's legacy, and after an incident of harassment at work, she begins to fall into the same tendencies, too. Megalomaniac questions the invisible line between victim and executioner and how it is crossed. A film about the weight of patriarchy and the illusion of Manichaeism.
