"Tenacity is a superpower." Yes it definitely is. Amazon's Prime Video has unveiled an official trailer for an inspiration movie titled A Million Miles Away, made by Mexican filmmaker Alejandra Márquez Abella. The movie is based on the especially moving true story of José Hernández, who was the very first migrant farmworker to become an astronaut, and go to space! "A tale of perseverance, community and sacrifice to accomplish an impossible dream." Michael Peña stars as Jose Hernandez, whose life took him from the fields of the San Joaquin Valley to NASA where he became a flight engineer and traveled into space on the STS-128 Space Shuttle mission that launched in 2009. The film's cast also includes Rosa Salazar, Bobby Soto, Sarayu Blue, Veronica Falcon, Julio Cesar Cadillo, along with Garret Dillahunt as his fellow astronaut. This will be skipping theaters and debuting directly for streaming on Prime Video in September. This looks quite good, a story of determination and tenacity, never giving up on that impossible dream. 🚀 // Continue Reading ›
