No US release but UK cinephiles might want to keep an eye out for this. "Liverpool takes centre stage in this year-in-the-life documentary portrait. An observation of a city and its people over the passing seasons." Liverpool is a cathedral city, port city, and metropolitan borough in Merseyside, England - it became a major port city in the 17th century as a borough in Lancashire. Director Daniel Draper explains: "Liverpool's become a go-to destination for productions – easily disguised as London, New York, Moscow or even Gotham City. Given this, I thought it was time to make Liverpool the leading lady of her own movie. I spent a year walking and filming the streets of the place I call home, documenting how a city operates over a single year... making a film about humans; the importance of community, fragile memories and the passing of time."
