"Life's full of tough choices... innit?" Such as - do you go see this movie or not? Disney has debuted a new 60-second preview for the The Little Mermaid live-action movie, opening in theaters this May. This tease features more footage of Melissa McCarthy as the evil octopus Ursula, who puts a spell on Ariel. The Little Mermaid is Rob Marshall's live-action reimagining of the studio's Oscar-winning animated musical classic. It stars singer and actress Halle Bailey as the mermaid Ariel; Daveed Diggs as the voice of Sebastian; Jacob Tremblay as the voice of Flounder; Awkwafina as the voice of Scuttle; Jonah Hauer-King as Eric; Art Malik; Noma Dumezweni as Queen Selina; plus the Oscar winner Javier Bardem as King Triton; and McCarthy as Ursula. The rest of the story seems to be the exact same as the original movie. This looks better than the footage from the main official trailer, I'm still just not sure why we need to care about this when it's all just so obvious and familiar.
