Power Ballad is the latest musical comedy creation from Irish mastermind John Carney (Once, Begin Again, Sing Street, Flora and Son). It just premiered at the Dublin Film Festival and next plays at SXSW before hitting theaters this summer. Rick, a washed-up wedding singer, and Danny, a fading boy band star, bond over music and a late-night jam session.
