Gnarly Full Trailer for 'Beast' MMA Movie Starring Daniel MacPherson

"I fought for my life every day..." Lionsgate has launched the main official trailer for a brutal action movie called Beast, made by Australian filmmaker Tyler Atkins. Yet another MMA movie about a strong underdog fighter who returns to the ring to prove he's still capable of taking on anyone. A fisherman who once fought for a living agrees to a final return in an MMA shodown after his brothers is put in danger — forcing him to confront whether violence can ever set a family free. Pushed to his breaking point, the contender's stakes are simple: win, or lose everything he's built. Of course! The screenplay is actually co-written by Russell Crowe - a very Australian production. Beast stars Daniel MacPherson, Luke Hemsworth, Bren Foster, Amy Shark, Mojean Aria, Kelly Gale, and Russell Crowe as his trainer. Out in theaters this April. Not to be confused with 2017's film also titled Beast with Jessie Buckley. This story about brothers also reminds me of the excellent Warrior film. Looks especially brutal and amped up.
