"Try not to die, okay?!" Bandai Namco Filmworks has announced that this new anime movie will be hitting US theaters starting this May. Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe is a new continuation of the Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway series, which also had a movie in 2021. Adapted from the 1989–1990 novel of the same name by Yoshiyuki Tomino, it is directed by Shuko Murase, written by Yasuyuki Muto, scored by Hiroyuki Sawano, and animated by Sunrise. "Delivering breathtaking mobile suit battles, emotional depth, and stunning animation, the film builds on the cinematic journey of Hathaway who leads the resistance movement MAFTY against a corrupt Earth Federation. Faced between duty and the remnants of his past, Hathaway must prepare for battle against the Adelaide Conference." Anime has been doing exceptionally well playing in US theaters the past few years, so more & more movies are on the way. Allowing "fans the opportunity to experience the action, emotion, and spectacle of Hathaway’s epic mission the way it was meant to be seen." This one is dropping right in the middle of May on big screens nationwide after first opening in Japanese cinemas earlier this year. The original Japanese voice cast includes Kensho Ono, Reina Ueda, Junichi Suwabe, and Soma Saito. It also features an English dub for the US release. // Continue Reading ›
