Samara Weaving & Jason Segel in 'Over Your Dead Body' Film Trailer

IFC has unveiled an official trailer for the action comedy film Over Your Dead Body, a brand new comedy from filmmaker Jorma Taccone. This is premiering at the 2026 SXSW Film Festival in March, then hits theaters in late April playing everywhere. Directed by SNL alumnus and Lonely Island member Jorma Taccone (of Pop Star: Never Stop Stopping, MacGruber), this is about a dysfunctional married couple who retreats to a secluded cabin to repair their relationship. However, each secretly plots to murder the other. A riff on the "over my dead body" phrase, of course. Described as "a dark, twisted, and riotous action comedy, with a killer cast." Over Your Dead Body stars Samara Weaving & Jason Segel as the couple, along with Timothy Olyphant, Juliette Lewis, Paul Guilfoyle, and Keith Jardine. Don't tell me anything more about it!
