"We fly with our spirit." Watch out for Kiki! GKids + IMAX have unveiled a brand new official trailer for the 4K restoration IMAX re-release of Kiki's Delivery Service coming up this March. Kiki's was the fourth film made by Studio Ghibli after starting in 1986 - just after My Neighbor Totoro (1988) and before Porco Rosso (1992). The timeless and beloved classic from director Hayao Miyazaki and the globally celebrated animation house Studio Ghibli about a young witch who goes on an adventure in a new city with her black cat Jiji (who's the best!!). 🐈⬛ The release marks the first time ever that Kiki's Delivery Service will play on IMAX screens. At least for a few days this March. The latest Ghibli title in the continued partnership of 4K updates to GKids' animated classics. Kiki settles in a seaside town and starts a high-flying delivery service. Here begins her magical encounter with independence and responsibility, making lifelong friends and also finding her place in the world. This new re-release will include the original Japanese version with subtitles + the English dub (from its US release in 1990).
