This just premiered at the 2026 Rotterdam Film Festival (aka IFFR) a few weeks ago but doesn't have any other release dates set yet. French actress Pom Klementieff stars as Romy – a French DJ touring the sun-bleached, club-lit Canary Islands, until her friend vanishes. IFFR adds more: "In Mi Amor, Guillaume Nicloux builds a taut & slickly paced disappearance thriller that transforms the extreme natural beauty of the island into something altogether sinister and strange, driven by an always pulsing techno score by French artists Irène Drésel and Sizo Del Givry." The film stars Pom Klementieff with Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Elina Löwensohn, Benoît Magimel, Freya Mavor, & Anaël Snoek. This seems very similar to Jan-Ole Gerster's film Islands – also set on the Canary Islands about a disappearance, with similar vibes. // Continue Reading ›
