When the small town big shot goes after the deed to her family's bar, a heartbreaking bartender takes to extreme measures to keep it. Willa Holland stars as Sue Parker, who is thrust into a desperate struggle to rescue her family's failing business. With the arrival of a charming wanderer, she sees him as her really only hope to help prevent their bar from being seized by the merciless local tycoon. But that's only the start. Matthew Yerby wrote the script in 2018, based on the small-town lifestyle he grew up with in Natchitoches, Louisiana. It also stars Shane West, Laura Cayouette, Wayne Pére, Mike Manning, Gissette Valentin, and Dermot Mulroney. It looks pretty much right down the middle, exactly as expected telling this story.
