"How did we survive?" "A little bit of luck... A 'lotta bit of grace." S&R Films has revealed an official trailer for an indie film titled Allswell in New York, which initially premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year. It won Best Screenplay at the fest back then, and it also just played at the New Hampshire Film Festival this fall. Allswell in New York follows the story of three Puerto Rican sisters in New York who are navigating life's challenges of single motherhood, career, and family, while finding the humor, solace, and bonds of sisterhood make it all bearable. This Latinx dramedy stars Elizabeth Rodriguez (Orange is the New Black), Liza Colón-Zayas (The Bear), Daphne Rubin-Vega (In The Heights), and the talented Bobby Cannavale, along with Max Casella, Michael Rispoli, Felix Solis, and Mackenzie Lansing. This looks wholesome and authentic, telling stories about life in NYC that we don't often hear. Worth a look. // Continue Reading ›
