Enchanting Full Trailer for Laika's 'Wildwood' Stop-Motion Adventure

"The woods have become a savage place." 🌳 This looks magnificent! Laika has debuted their main official trailer for their next stop-motion animated movie Wildwood – arriving into theaters in October this fall. They've been developing it for years and it's finally finishing up and it looks better than ever. An expansive, emotional, wondrous adventure into the woods. After multiple featurettes and behind-the-scenes looks, this is the best look at this stop-motion movie yet. The main character of Prue was revealed in a 2024 first look – Prue McKeel (Peyton Elizabeth Lee) and her friend Curtis are drawn into a hidden, magical forest near Portland, Oregon after Prue's baby brother Mac is kidnapped by crows and a mysterious woman. The voice cast includes Jacob Tremblay, Carey Mulligan, Awkwafina, Jemaine Clement, Charlie Day, Jake Johnson, Amandla Stenberg, Tom Waits, Richard E. Grant, and Mahershala Ali as Brenden, the Bandit King of Wildwood. This looks like it might just be the best animated movie of the year!
