Australian Creature Feature Grief Thriller 'The Room Below' Trailer

"I want you to tell me what's going on." Uncork'd Entertainment revealed the trailer for an Australian indie horror thriller film titled The Room Below, from filmmaker Kurt Martin. This thriller is getting a direct-to-VOD release coming up in September if anyone is interested. Yet another grief manifesting as a monster movie to join all the others. After losing her young son to cancer, a grieving mother living with a mysterious creature in her home befriends and then kidnaps a young boy to replace him. But when a retired detective begins investigating the child's disappearance, her carefully constructed world starts to unravel. Bringing the film's creature to life is award-winning special make-up effects studio Make-Up Effects Group, also from Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga and Talk to Me. The Room Below stars Alyssa Sutherland as Mia, along with Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Bobby Gilchrist, & Gilbert Bradman.
