Adorable First Trailer for 'The Saga of Rex' Handmade Animated Film

Gagné International revealed a first look teaser trailer for the indie sci-fi animation project titled The Saga of Rex, which has been a passion project in development for 14 years so far. The film is seeking distribution and festival premieres after finally being finished. The Saga of Rex is made by animation maestro Michel Gagné, a name you may not recognize but you'll know his work. Remember that tasting food colors segment in Ratatouille? He created that. And many other unique animation segments in films including Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Piece by Piece, and Brad Bird's upcoming Ray Gunn. Abducted from his home and taken across the cosmos, Rex (a cute little fox) is paired with a being named Aven and forced to face a series of extraordinary trials. As they struggle to survive amid the mysteries of an unknown world, an unexpected bond begins to form between them. Described as "an epic journey into the unknown that tugs at the heart while unleashing a sense of wonder." Well – this looks amazing!
