Written and directed by the filmmaker Joey Bicicchi, this supernatural indie horror is debuting at the 2026 Popcorn Frights Festival in Fort Lauderdale, Florida this August. A man's structured life to cope with mental health issues unravels when a horrifying apparition called Woozy starts tormenting him, forcing him to confront his fears. Emile Hirsch unleashes a nerve-shredding performance in Woozy, a psychological descent into a mind’s darkest corners. What begins as control collapses into spectacular chaos as Dusty is forced into a brutal confrontation with the delusions he thought he had mastered. Woozy becomes a visceral battle between discipline and disorder, sanity and surrender, structure and the terrifying unknown that lives just beneath the surface.
