"There is saying: 'when it rains in LA, disaster follows...'" Gravitas Ventures has unveiled an official trailer for an indie horror film titled When It Rains in L.A., from filmmaker David M. Parks. Not to be confused with any other film that is about the rare time when it rains in Los Angeles. The horror film follows the story of an Eastern European girl who escapes the horror of losing her sugar daddy boyfriend in her own country. She travels to Los Angeles for a vacation with friends, where she faces the reckoning of the trauma she left behind... and the rain she unearthed coming there. This sounds like a drama about trauma but it's actually a slasher horror film about a masked murderer coming after her. Huh? Why? Is he seeking vengeance because she escaped from this sugar daddy? This is all so weird. When It Rains in LA stars Monroe Cline, Leslie Stratton, Mike Ferguson, Eric Roberts, Felix Merback, Natasha Stricklin, and LeeAnne Bauer.
