Peacock has revealed the first look teaser trailer for a fun new sex comedy series called Laid, created by Nahnatchka Khan (Always Be My Maybe, Totally Killer) and Sally Bradford McKenna. Yes it's based on the Australian series of the same name (from 2011) and it will be streaming on Peacock in the US in December later this year. A weird time to launch this? A woman finds out her former lovers are dying in unusual ways and must go back through her sex timeline to confront her complicated past in order to move forward. Well, that sounds awkward! "The premise of Laid — a woman discovers all of her exes are dying in mysterious ways — seemed exactly what we were looking for: a F–ed-up rom-com." Laid stars Stephanie Hsu as Ruby and Zosia Mamet as her best friend AJ.
