"I would never leave you again..." Curzon revealed an official trailer for an indie film titled My Father's Island, a father-son drama from filmmaker Vladimir de Fontenay. This premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival last year and it also played at the San Francisco Film Festival. It's adapted from a short story, following the story of a young boy who goes and lives on a remote island in the Norwegian fjords with his father for a year. What starts as a chance to reconnect descends into a test of survival as they face the harsh realities of their environment and confront their unresolved turmoil. Starring Swann Arlaud, Woody Norman, Alma Pöysti, Ruaridh Mollica, Tuppence Middleton. A haunted young man travels out to a remote island to reconnect with his father and confront the traumatic experience they shared ten years prior that transformed their relationship. Shot on location in the stunning wilds of Norway. This received mixed reviews at Sundance, stating that it meanders and leaves "viewers more confused than moved." Take a look. // Continue Reading ›
