An Anti-Narcotics Court in Lahore has extended judicial remand of PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah and other five suspects in a case pertaining to possession of contraband in the vehicle.
ANF produced all suspects before judge Khalid Bashir under tight security.
As the hearing began, Advocate Nazeer Tarar held the point of view that the PML-N stalwart was arrested on a political basis.
Commenting on the ANF challan which it had submitted before the court in previous hearing, the Advocate said: “The challan is incomplete as it lacks complete documents in the submitted file”.
On the other hand, ANF alleged Rana Sanaullah of being involved in smuggling of narcotics for a prolonged period of time in the past.
After hearing arguments in the case, court then extended judicial remand of all suspects for 11 days.
