Obscured Releasing has unveiled an official trailer for an indie film titled Blue Film, a provocative LGBTQ tale of romantic drama from filmmaker Elliot Tuttle. After being rejected from almost every other festival, this ended up premiering at the 2025 Edinburgh Film Festival last year and it also played at Montclair & Philadelphia Film Fests as well. Fetish camboy Aaron Eagle agrees to spend the night with an anonymous client and discovers a disturbing tie to his past. "Scarier than any straight horror this year." Because it deals with taboo topics related to sex and sexuality. Kieron Moore (from Netflix’s Boots) plays a camboy who meets up with a client only to discover he already knows this man from his youth. Children's Show Evil Puppets Horror Film 'The Fuzzies' Official Trailer

"I'm gonna kill that felt fuzzy!" Terror Films has revealed an official trailer for a new horror comedy called The Fuzzies, about evil children's show puppets come to life. This low budget indie creation is a feature version of filmmaker Josh Funk's original short film from 2020 also called The Fuzzies. And it features some very cool stop-motion work and puppetry. Childhood friends reunite at the eerie and spooky estate of their famous friend to mourn her passing. They experience what nightmares are made of – as grotesque puppets come alive and sinister stop-motion creatures make them fight for their lives. Starring Rocío de la Grana, Baylee Toney, Dustin Vaught, Gordy Cassel, Karen Leigh Sharp, & Seph Casani. It's much more playful than scary and more wacky than frightening. New Trailer for Kurt Russell's 'Soldier' 90s Sci-Fi Action 4K Restoration

"His training had prepared him for anything – except this." Arrow Video has launched a new trailer for the 4K release of this cult classic sci-fi action movie from the late 1990s called Soldier. I'm actually a big fan of this movie – I loved it when it came out in 1998 and watched it quite a few times back then. Soldier is one of director Paul W.S. Anderson's 90s extra cheesy action movies – yes it's dumb and campy but fun and kind of endearing cause this soldier has a soft side. After the one-two punch of Mortal Kombat & Event Horizon, W.S. Anderson teamed up with iconic action star Kurt Russell and writer David Webb Peoples (Blade Runner, Unforgiven) for the thrilling sci-fi adventure. Unfortunately it was a huge box office bomb. Oh well. A soldier trained from birth is deemed obsolete and dumped on a waste planet where he is reluctantly taken in by a community of defenseless, stranded wayfarers. Russell stars with Connie Nielsen, Jason Scott Lee, Michael Chiklis, & Jason Isaacs. First Teaser for Ryusuke Hamaguchi's 'All of a Sudden' Film Set in Paris

Well this looks wonderful already! An early teaser trailer has debuted for the latest film from Oscar winning Japanese filmmaker Ryusuke Hamaguchi that is coming out this summer in Japan. After making Drive My Car and Evil Does Not Exist, his next film is titled All of a Sudden and it's set in Paris and shot in the French language (along with Japanese of course). Two scholars exchange letters about chance and risk. As the philosopher falls ill, their academic correspondence evolves into intimate discussions about mortality & a deeper connection forms between them. The film is loosely inspired by a collection letters written between philosopher Makiko Miyano and medical anthropologist Maho Isono which were published in the book "You and I – The Illness Suddenly Get Worse." The letters cover Miyano and Isono's thoughts on life, illness and death as Miyano fought metastatic breast cancer. The film reinterprets the story following these two getting to know each other in Paris walking around & discussing things. Starring Virginie Efira, Tao Okamoto, Kyōzō Nagatsuka, Teruyo Kurosaki. And it will feature a score by Canadian-French composer Samuel Andreyev. This film is set for a Japanese release in June and is expected to premiered at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. And from the looks of it, with barely just 30 seconds so far, this seems like a major Palme d'Or contender already. New Trailer for Sonny Chiba's 'G.I. Samurai' Action Film 4K Restoration

"We must change the path of history." "Are we allowed to change history?" Arrow Video released a brand new 4K restoration Blu-ray of this 1979 Japanese action classic called G.I. Samurai starring Sony Chiba. It's out in the US & Canada to watch starting May 5th on Blu-ray for any collectors or otherwise to pick up. G.I. Samurai features action superstar Sonny Chiba heading the cast in a rip-roaring time-slipping action blockbuster in which guns, tanks and helicopters come up against katana-wielding warriors on horseback! Based on a novel by Ryo Hanmura and directed by Kosei Saito (Ninja Wars), G.I. Samurai's epic battle scenes wowed Japanese audiences upon release in 1979 and are now more awe-inspiring than ever in a new 4K restoration by Kadokawa Pictures. This is a bonkers action classic crossing over these two timelines. It was also released with an English dub and a new title called Time Slip, though the original is still better. A remake was also released in Japan in 2005 under the title Samurai Commando: Mission 1549. This trailer captures much of the chaotic energy in this film - it's totally worth a watch.
