It is also executive produced by none other than Taika Waititi! Supporting his own New Zealanders. Wannabe-adventurer Zoe freaks out when she falls pregnant with her long-term boyfriend Tim. As Tim embraces the prospect of fatherhood, Zoe attempts to rush through her dreams. "Growing a baby doesn't mean growing up." Ha. Her engagement is called off, her first book isn't doing so well, and all her friends are having babies. Kate Conklin is in a real rut when out of nowhere she gets a call from her old professor, David Kirkpatrick, asking her to come back to her old university to do a reading. She gets sucked into college life again, hanging out with students and reconnecting with her old self. Based on the book "Above Suspicion: An Undercover FBI Agent, an Illicit Affair, and a Murder of Passion", the film tells the story of the first conviction for murder of an FBI agent. A hot shot young rookie is sent to Kentucky, where he's drawn into an illicit affair with a local woman who becomes his star informant. Watch: Dimwits in Conversation in Hilarious UK Short Film 'Norteños'

"I feel proper bad about it now, because I love me Nanna." Now here's a crafty short film that's more than a bit awkward, a bit hilarious, a bit strange, a bit ingenious. Norteños is a 7-minute dark comedy short film by a British filmmaking duo called "Grandmas". The film is about a mild mannered dimwit (a British word for "a stupid person" or "fool") from somewhere in the Northwest of England who attempts to convince his ex-girlfriend to help him with cleaning up a terrible crime. Starring Daniel Watson as Barry, and Chelsea O'Connor as Linda. This won Best Comedy at the Aesthetica Film Festival last year and also played at a few other festivals. It's so blissfully dark and odd, but that's all part of the humor that makes it worth watching. ›››
