David Arquette in NYPD Thriller 'Mob Cops' Trailer Another Crime Film

"Where is the money coming from, Leo?!" Lionsgate has debuted an official trailer for another boring crime thriller called Mob Cops, arriving on VOD starting in April this spring. These kind of generic "bad guys are kinda cool" movies really are a dime a dozen nowadays in the streaming / VOD era. From director Danny A. Abeckaser, Mob Cops is based on true events in mobster crime lore: When the two dirtiest cops in NYPD history pop up on a veteran detective's radar, he goes on a hunt to discover the truth and bring all them to justice. It's set across the 80s and 90s, leading up to the year 2005. The full ensemble cast features David Arquette, Jeremy Luke, Danny A. Abeckaser, Joseph Russo, Nathaniel Buzolic, Kyle Stefanski, Bo Dietl, Graham Sibley, and Kevin Connolly. Abeckaser adds: "I've always been fascinated with dirty cop stories, and this one is the biggest in the history of the NYPD – so I was extremely intrigued to turn this into a film."
