The Supreme Court of Pakistan heard the case of Ashiana Housing Scheme Scam today regarding bail of the culprits where National Accountability Beaure (NAB) has been ordered by the top court to file references against the culprits.
According to sources, NAB has been ordered by Supreme Court to file references within the period of two weeks against the offenders in Ashiana Housing Scam case.
During the hearing, NAB Prosecutor said that a reference cannot be filed against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif since he is under custody.
He added, “A reference can be filed against him only if he is under Judicial remand.”
Apex Court Judge, Justice Azmat Saeed remarked, ” Let the reference be filed, a decision can only be taken then.
