Meet Kara Zor-El! 🕶️ Warner Bros & DC have revealed two quick new TV spots to promote this summer's Supergirl movie, the follow-up to James Gunn's Superman last year. Opening in theaters at the end of June soon! Get your tickets & get ready for an emotional adventure. Supergirl is directed by Craig Gillespie (of I, Tonya, Cruella) as seen in this behind-the-scenes featurette as well. When an unexpected and ruthless adversary strikes too close to home, Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely companion. Kara celebrates her 21st birthday by travelling across the galaxy with her dog Krypto. She meets Ruthye Marye Knoll and encounters a tragedy that leads her on a murderous quest for revenge – to find and save her dog, Krypto. Milly Alcock stars as Kara Zor-El, with Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, as well as Jason Momoa as Lobo (who doesn't appear in either of these).
