"I made a pie!" Gravitas has released an official trailer for an indie comedy titled The Argument, the latest from actor / musician / director Robert Schwartzman (of Dreamland, The Unicorn). The Argument follows Jack and his girlfriend, Lisa as they get into an argument during a get together with some friends over wine and charcuterie in their apartment after the final night of a play. As the argument escalates, the party comes to an end and all their friends leave — but the party isn't really over. Jack and Lisa recreate the party over and over again — with all their guests — in order to figure out who was right. Dan Fogler and Emma Bell star, with Maggie Q, Danny Pudi, Cleopatra Coleman, Karan Brar, Marielle Scott, Charlotte McKinney, Tyler James Williams, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, and Mark Ryder. Review: Although 'Peninsula' Stumbles, It Still Remains a Worthy Watch

How far would you go to save someone in the face of danger? Or would you only care about yourself? Those questions and many survival quandaries are present in the original Train to Busan. Writer / director Yeon Sang-ho focuses the story on humanity, self-preservation, and greed. Coincidentally, I watched the original movie just a few weeks ago, and it completely changed my perspective on zombie films. Returning for the sequel, Yeon Sang-ho touches on similar themes in Train to Busan 2: Peninsula, and further explores these questions through the characters' actions. Although the second film stumbles and does not reinvent zombie genre nor is it anything unique, the storyline, special effects, and the message behind the film may still be worthwhile for viewers. It also touches on topics of community, population, and mutual respect. ›››

Official Trailer for Acclaimed Documentary 'Time' About Incarceration

"Man these people have no respect for other human being's lives." Amazon Prime has released the first full trailer for a documentary film titled Time, which originally premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. It won the Directing Award in the US Documentary category at the fest this year, and also won the Emerging Artist & Filmmaker Award at the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival this year. The title is a reference to "doing time", and the story follows a woman who spends nearly 20 years waiting patiently for her husband to finally be released from prison… She fights every day, making calls and submitting claims, hoping that he might be released early. The entire film is present in B&W and features home video and lots of intimate, personal footage recorded by Fox Rich - including some phone calls with her husband while he's in prison.
