Official UK Trailer for 'The Eight Mountains' Film with Luca Marinelli

Picturehouses in the UK has revealed their official trailer for the lovely film The Eight Mountains, the latest from filmmakers Felix van Groeningen & Charlotte Vandermeersch. It's set to hit theaters in the US at the end of April, then open in UK cinemas in May - and this one is a must watch on the big screen. Some of the most spectacular mountain cinematography I've ever seen. It initially premiered at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival last year playing in the Main Competition. The Eight Mountains is the story of a friendship. Pietro is a boy from the city, Bruno is the last child of a forgotten mountain village. Over the years Bruno remains faithful to his mountain, while Pietro is the one who comes and goes. Their encounters introduce them to love and loss, reminding them of their origins, letting their destinies unfold, as Pietro and Bruno discover what it means to be true friends for life. "And... action!" Disney has revealed a quick teaser trailer for the next new Muppets series, this one titled The Muppets Mayhem, arriving for streaming in Disney+. This musical follows The Muppets' band as they try to record their first ever album. Sounds like it's going to be funny! Developed by Adam F. Goldberg, Bill Barretta, and Jeff Yorkes, for ABC Signature and The Muppets Studio. The series stars Lilly Singh, Tahj Mowry, Saara Chaudry, and Anders Holm in real person roles. Sony has unveiled the full-length official trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the highly anticipated sequel to the animation classic Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The first full trailer for this arrived last December, and it's set to open in theaters this June. I cannot wait!! Miles Morales catapults across the Multiverse with Gwen Stacey, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. When the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles must redefine what it means to be a hero. Shameik Moore returns to voice Miles, along with Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen. The cast also features Issa Rae and Oscar Isaac (as "Spider-Man 2099" / Miguel O'Hara - finally in this trailer), along with Jake Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Daniel Kaluuya as "Spider-Punk", and Jason Schwartzman as the Spot. First Trailer for Robert Rodriguez's Mystery 'Hypnotic' with Ben Affleck

"Are you familiar with the concept of hypnotics?" Learn more in this trailer. Ketchup Entertainment has revealed an official US trailer for Hypnotic, a sneaky mystery thriller from Robert Rodriguez, which he also co-wrote and produced. This recently premiered as a work-in-progress at SXSW, with a final release set for May in US theaters. This looks super twisty and deceptively clever! A detective becomes entangled in a mystery involving his missing daughter and a secret government program and soon finds himself spiraling down a rabbit hole investigating reality-bending bank robberies. Ben Affleck stars as Daniel Rourke, with Alice Braga, William Fichtner, Jeff Fahey, Kelly Frye, JD Pardo, and Hala Finley. This trailer has some strong Inception vibes, with all the reality-bending, as well as some Fincher flair. Watch: 'Duct Tape and Dreams' Short Doc About SF's Soapbox Derby

"It shows how crazy artists can be when you give them an opportunity to make something that doesn't have to be inside a white wall gallery. You make something for the sake of art, for the sake of fun, and for the sake of yourself." This delightful short documentary is the perfect video to watch when you need to be cheered up - it's a jubilant, rousing story of people having fun. Duct Tape and Dreams is a short film about the 2022 Soapbox Derby arranged by SFMOMA and held at San Francisco's John McLaren Park a year ago. It's a sublime doc about the people involved, their fun creations and the event itself. A comment on Vimeo really sums up how feel-good this is: "I cannot overstate how much this documentary delighted and has inspired me. It is everything good in the world.
