Official Trailer for Pixar's New 'Cars on the Road' Series for Disney+

"I'm guessing this is the beginning of something great." Disney has unveiled the official trailer for a new Pixar series streaming soon on Disney+ called Cars on the Road, another spin-off based on the always-popular-with-kids Cars franchise. "Nine new episodes. One epic road trip." This will be available to watch on Disney+ Day, September 8th, in just another month from now. "The series is a romp across the country with Lightning McQueen and Mater," says director Steve Purcell. "Like any real road trip, every day is a new mini-adventure with unexpected twists and turns." Lightning ends up on crazy fun a road trip with his best friend Mater when he reveals that his sister is getting married. They meet all kinds of strange vehicles along the way, including dinosaur cars, monster trucks, circus cars, and ghost cars. Featuring the voices of Owen Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy. It looks like they also snuck in a Mad Max: Fury Road riff into this series. I'll watch that episode at least, because that looks like wicked fun. As for the rest - what do you think? ›››

"Welcome to Night City… where chrome exceeds the flesh." This looks totally nuts!! Netflix has debuted the full-length official trailer for an epic futuristic anime series titled Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Inspired by and also co-developed by the video game studio CD PROJEKT RED, based on the game Cyberpunk 2077, this new sci-fi anime series will feature 10 episodes set in a cyberpunk dystopian future. In a new dystopia riddled with corruption and cybernetic implants, we follow a talented but reckless street kid named David Martinez. The series tells a standalone, 10-episode story is about this kid trying to survive in Night City — a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future. Having everything to lose, he stays alive by becoming an edgerunner — a mercenary outlaw also known as a cyberpunk. Written and produced by P.T. Adamczyk. There's still no official voice cast announced yet, despite the character intros in the trailer. This looks awesome in about 100 ways!! A bit of Akira, a bit of "Snow Crash", a bit of Blade Runner, with heaps of Cyberpunk 2077 mania thrown into this gnarly sci-fi anime series with a whole bunch of wild characters. ›››

Amazing Full Trailer for 'Devotion' with Jonathan Majors & Glen Powell

"What do you want me to do?" "Just be my wingman." Sony Pictures has debuted an incredible full-length official trailer for Devotion, another new intense fighter pilot thriller landing this year - which looks like an amazing follow-up to Top Gun Maverick. The film is about a pair of U.S. Navy fighter pilots who risk their lives during the Korean War and become some of the Navy's most celebrated wingmen. Devotion tells the true story (the big difference between this and Top Gun!) of Jesse L. Brown, as played by Jonathan Majors, a pioneering Black Naval aviator who flew missions during the Korean War (1950-1953), and built an unexpected bond with fellow Naval aviator Tom Hudner, played by Glen Powell - who is also in Top Gun Maverick. This also stars Spencer Neville, Christina Jackson, Thomas Sadoski, Joseph Cross, Daren Kagasoff, Serinda Swan, and Joe Jonas. This looks phenomenal! I even got the chills from this trailer. All of the flying footage looks terrific, and the performances look even better. Can't wait to watch it. ›››

Trailer for Thriller 'I Came By' with Kelly Macdonald & George MacKay

"Who's side are you on?!" A very good question these days… Netflix has unveiled an official trailer for a new thriller from the British-Iranian filmmaker Babak Anvari, best known for his excellent Iranian horror film Under the Shadow. His latest is titled I Came By, a social-political crime thriller set in the UK. "Everybody has a secret." The film follows a young graffiti artist who discovers a shocking secret when he breaks into the home of renowned former High Court Judge Sir Hector Blake. The discovery might put him and the ones closest to him in danger, unless he can figure out . The film stars the superbly talented George MacKay as Toby, Kelly Macdonald, Percelle Ascott, Varada Sethu, and Hugh Bonneville. This looks like it has some incisive commentary on wealth and power, and how evil these people are, but I'm not sure if the rest of the story with MacKay will play out in the right way… I hope it doesn't make him disposable by the end of it. ›››

First Teaser for Slasher Comedy 'Teddy Told Me To' from Tom Devlin

"Did he just say there were real murders here?" An early teaser has debuted for an indie horror comedy creation titled Teddy Told Me To, a feature film based on the slasher villain "Teddy," who was created for the 2011 SyFy special effects makeup reality series "Face Off". The plot is about "a pair of haunters who set out to resurrect a shuttered Halloween haunt with a bloody past." It was filmed at filmmaker Tom Devlin's Monster Museum in Boulder City, Nevada. "As a lifelong fan of horror films – slasher flicks, in particular – I felt it was time to tell my own story that's a throwback to the fun slasher flicks of my youth," Devil explains. "I wanted to make a film that doesn’t take itself too seriously but plays well on a spooky October night or a fun summer sleepover. We filled it with gory effects, colorful characters, and the mandatory 3 B's. It's a love letter to not only the films that have inspired me – and their punk rock ethos, but also to the haunters of the world, and we hope it’s a hell of a good time!" Gravitas Ventures has revealed an official trailer for a documentary film titled Unicorn Town, landing in theaters in late August if anyone is curious to learn about this intriguing sports story. With the help of a handful of American recruits from the NFL, an underdog football team in a small German town attempts to keep up in a league that appears to be leaving them behind. The film tells the story of the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns, a team based in a small town (see Google Maps) in southern Germany, where the passionate players are trying their best to maintain their position in the German Football League (GFL) - an American Football (no, it's not soccer or fußball!) league running in Deutschland.
