Intense Teaser Trailer for 'Train to Busan' Zombie Sequel 'Peninsula'

Well Go USA has unveiled the first official teaser trailer for the zombie movie Peninsula, the sequel to the Korean smash hit zombie action thriller Train to Busan from 2016. This sequel is directed again by the same filmmaker who made the first one – Yeon Sang-ho – and follows the survivor Jung-seok, who was able to safely escape the diseased wasteland. In this next post-apocalyptic thriller, "when his team unexpectedly stumbles upon survivors, their lives will depend on whether the best—or worst—of human nature prevails in the direst of circumstances." Yeah, we all know it'll be bad. Starring Gang Dong-won and Lee Jung-hyun. In addition to the poster, this is the first look reveal and packs a punch despite being only a 90-second teaser. Amber Anderson stars as in this psychological thriller as Regine, a fragile young woman trying to build a new life – safer and happier than the one she had as a child. Escaping her trauma is not so easy however, and when her grandmother is brutally murdered, Regine must return to the village she once left and revisit the gruesome horrors of her past to protect herself and her family. Watch: Rodeo Short Film 'After the Smoke' Directed by Nick Waterman

"My mum said the smoke would change color when it happened… I often wonded what that would look like…" This short film is a bit more somber and introspective than the usual comedies and horror we feature. After the Smoke is a short film made by Australian filmmaker Nick Waterman, and it's finally available to watch online after first premiering back in 2017 at the Berlin Film Festival and other fests. The short is about a young man who attends a rodeo at a remote outback mining station town – and "bears witness to something he will never forget." Featuring the voice of Sam Reid as the narrator. It was shot in B&W (by cinematographer Velinda Wardell) and has some incredible detail. A comment on Vimeo says it best: "Every image on display here is deeply felt. "How much are you prepared to pay?" Lionsgate has released an official US trailer for the next film in the Intrigo trilogy, this one officially titled Intrigo: Dear Agnes. We featured the trilogy teaser last year, and the main trailer for Intrigo: Death of an Author earlier this year. This is the second feature film in the big screen adaptation of the mystery series. With the death of her husband, Agnes is desperate for money. Then she runs into her old friend Henny, who is enraged at her unfaithful spouse, Peter. Henny makes Agnes a shocking offer—enough cash to live a better life, if she will murder Peter and get rid of him. All this leads to an "explosive, unforgettable climax." Based on a series of short stories from Sweden, of course. This specific murder thriller stars Carla Juri, Gemma Chan, Jamie Sives, Jason Wong, Laurie Kynaston, and Cal MacAninch. The first story featured Ben Kingsley and Benno Fürmann. This one looks a bit more soap opera-y than the first film, but that might be just what the doctor ordered for some of us.
