"What are you tryin' to prove?" Paramount has debuted an official US trailer for Blue Story, which first opened in the UK late last year. This London suburbs drama is a feature adaptation of Rapman's YouTube series about two young friends who become rivals. Timmy, a shy, smart, naive and timid young boy from Deptford, goes to school in Peckham where he strikes up a friendship with Marco, a charismatic, streetwise kid from the local area. Although from warring postcodes, the two quickly form a firm friendship until it is tested and they wind up on rival sides of a street war. Starring Stephen Odubola and Micheal Ward as the two leads, with Rohan Nedd, Kadeem Ramsay, Khali Best, and Junior Afolabi Salokun. Festival Trailer for Golden Bear-Winning Iranian Film 'There Is No Evil'

"I never intended to kill anyone." The 2020 Berlin Film Festival just wrapped up, and the top prize Golden Bear award went to an Iranian drama titled There Is No Evil. This film features four narratives, each one addressing variations on the crucial themes of moral strength and the death penalty that ask to what extent individual freedom can be expressed under a despotic regime and its seemingly inescapable threats (read: life in Iran). Berlinale has debuted a promo trailer for the film that's written and directed by Mohammad Rasoulof (of A Man of Integrity), which is still trying to secure international distribution. Starring Ehsan Mirhosseini, Shaghayegh Shourian, Kaveh Ahangar, Alireza Zareparast, and Salar Khamseh. It's a big deal to win the Golden Bear at Berlinale, and from the looks of it, this film deserves the acclaim. Promo Trailer for Viktor Kosakovskiy's B&W Doc 'Gunda' About a Pig

"A mesmerizing perspective on sentience within animal species, normally–and perhaps purposely–hidden from our view." Who doesn't love cute animals? An early promo trailer has debuted online for the beloved documentary titled Gunda, which just premiered to great reviews at the Berlin Film Festival last month. This is the latest doc by the Russian documentarian Viktor Kosakovskiy (who last made Aquarela) and it's an adorable B&W dialogue-less feature that focuses mainly on a momma pig named Gunda. Shot at ground-level to put you in the same place as the animals, the film looks at the daily life of a pig and its farm animal companions: two cows and a one-legged chicken. That's all there is. Executive produced by Joaquin Phoenix. And fellow filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson raves: "Gunda is pure cinema. As another film festival comes to an end, it's time to celebrate and commemorate with the announcement of the awards. The 70th Berlin Film Festival is finishing up, and the winners were revealed at the Closing Ceremony, including the winner of the coveted Golden Bear for Best Film. That top prize was given to a film called There Is No Evil, directed by Iranian filmmaker Mohammad Rasoulof, who was not allowed to leave his country to attend the festival.
