New US Trailer for Chilean Experimental Animation 'The Wolf House'

"You're burning! Be careful!" KimStim has released an official US trailer for an experiential animated film titled The Wolf House, the English version of the original Spanish name - La Casa Lobo. The 75-minute film is animated using the paint / repaint stop-motion technique with various real-world objects and rooms worked right into the visuals. The story is very strange - it's about Maria, a young woman who takes refuge in a tiny house in southern Chile after escaping from a German colony. "Using stop-motion techniques and combining elements of various fables, photography, drawing, sculpture, and stage performance, Joaquín Cociña and Cristóbal León have created a nightmarish shapeshifter of a film." Crazy Trailer for 'Killer Raccoons 2: Dark Christmas in the Dark' Movie

Indican Pictures has released the official trailer for Killer Raccoons 2: Dark Christmas in the Dark, a sequel to a local cult favorite action horror from Ohio. This long-awaited follow-up is filmmaker Travis Irvine's big step up from local director to nationally-renowned genre mastermind. Killer Raccoons 2 is officially a sequel to Irvine's cult classic Coons! Night of the Bandits of the Night from 2006. This time everything is bigger, better, crazier, and coonier. And there's even a whole action set piece on a train. It is essentially a spoof of "several bad action movie sequels, using plot elements from Under Siege 2: Dark Territory, Die Hard 2 and Speed 2: Cruise Control." Starring Yang Miller, Ron Lynch, Tom Lyons, James Myers, and Zach Riedmaier as "Dr. Billington". Oh my, what a beautiful short film. Holy Dog is a short film made by Shern Sharma starring American cowboy Brady Jandreau - the very same Brady who starred in the outstanding film The Rider. This is kinda a follow-up to that, following Brady after his traumatic injuring riding a bucking bronco. In this short, he heads down to the Patagonia highlands in South America (the city seen in this is Santiago, Chile, though they also used Argentinian film services). I just love how poetic and moving and inspiring Brady's words are. Especially the part about how people have "forgotten about just living" and how we can't choose our passions but we can embrace them. A must watch. ›››

This has gone under a few other titles including The Hounds of Dixie and Cotton, but will be released with this final title. It's about a Southern family of blue-blood media moguls that falls apart "at the crossroads of past and progress in matters of death, wealth, love and American journalism." The comedy stars Reece Thompson, Madison Iseman, Beth Broderick, Brooke Butler, Olivia Grace Applegate, Benjie Anderson, Frieda Jane, Ira David Wood III, Michael Rupnow, and John Lescault.
