According to details, Supreme Court heard a case today pertaining to selling of Indian DTH.
A three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Saqib Nisar heard the case of Indian DTH selling in which the Chief Justice wrapped up the case, instructing for submission of a thorough report on the subject after every three months.
During the hearing, CJP stated that action will be taken against those who are selling the Indian DTH.
“Resuming ahead with the case doesn’t seem rational, action should abruptly be taken exactly as instructed.
Although, if need be, we will reopen the case”, remarked Chief Justice.
Nonetheless, the Apex Court concluded the hearing of the case with these remarks of the Chief Justice.
DTH is an acronym for ‘Direct to Home’ service.
DTH is a digital satellite service that provides television viewing services directly to subscribers through satellite transmission anywhere in the country.
