"Do you want to save the world or control it?" "Most of us go Dr. Evil." Ain't that the truth. Oh those crazy tech people! AMC+ has unveiled the main official trailer for a tech industry series called The Audacity, yet another of these series about zany tech CEOs and how they screw up their company and get into trouble. From writer / creator Jonathan Glatzer, The Audacity is ready for a streaming debut on AMC+ starting this April. "Move fast and break people." A self-appointed "inventor of the future" tech CEO and his self-serving "performance psychologist" are engulfed in a scandal sparked by the exploitation of personal data. Starring Billy Magnussen (as Duncan Park) and Zach Galifianakis (as Carl Bardolph). Sarah Goldberg also co-stars as Dr. JoAnne Felder, a poorly compensated therapist to many tech titans of Silicon Valley, while Galifianakis is Carl Bardolph, a former idealist pioneer of Silicon Valley who made his fortune off spam. The ensemble cast includes Rob Corddry, Meaghan Rath, Simon Helberg, Paul Adelstein, Lucy Punch, & Everett Blunck (of The Plague). So many streaming series like this recently. Full Trailer for 'The Miniature Wife' Series with a Tiny Elizabeth Banks
"How long until you can fix me?!" Peacock has revealed the wacky full official trailer for the comedy series called The Miniature Wife, arriving for streaming starting in April. A flip on the Honey I Shrunk the Kids concept or the Downsizing movie. A technological accident serves as a catalyst for Lindy and Les, a married couple, to re-evaluate their relationship's power dynamics, leading to a dramatic showdown as they vie for control in their marriage. Starring Matthew Macfadyen & Elizabeth Banks as the couple at the center, the series examines the power (im)balances between two spouses after an accident results in creating the ultimate relationship crisis. Based on a short story written by Manuel Gonzales. The book intro: "In slightly fantastical settings, Gonzales illustrates very real guilt over small and large marital missteps, the intense desire for the reinvention of self, and the powerful urges we feel to defend and provide for the people we love." Also starring Zoe Lister-Jones, Sofia Rosinsky, O-T Fagbenle, Sian Clifford, Ronny Chieng, Aasif Mandvi, Rong Fu, and Tricia Black. This looks like bonkers fun playing around with miniatures! Mixing complex marriage dynamics with a technology story and other shenanigans - I'm down. Have a peek. // Continue Reading ›

"If you leave, I'm going to miss you so much." Another award-winning film from Europe to keep an eye out for. This past weekend in Spain, this little film titled Sundays won the Best Film top prize at the Goya Awards in Spain (Premios Goya) - the Spanish version of the Academy Awards. Set in the Basque Country in Northern Spain, the story follows a 17-year-old girl named Ainara pondering about the possibility of joining a cloistered convent, deepening family rifts with her aloof father and her more involving aunt. More Behind-the-Scenes Looks at 'Project Hail Mary' Sci-Fi Spectacle
"The concept of a hail may is a last ditch effort when everything else has failed." Almost time to experience this on the big screen. It's going to blow us all away! Who's ready!? Amazon MGM + Sony Pictures debuted a batch of new promo featurettes for the Project Hail Mary movie, opening worldwide coming up later in March. They're finally showing more of the behind-the-scenes with a glimpse at the elaborate spaceship set that they filmed on and how every detail is accounted for. Adapted from Andy Weir's acclaimed novel of the same name, this is the story of a teacher turned astronaut who tries to save Earth while alone in outer space. The movie stars Ryan Gosling as Ryland Grace, who wakes up on a spacecraft at Tau Ceti and has to figure out how to save our stars with the help of a new friend. Co-starring Sandra Hüller as Eva Stratt, Ryland's superior. This is one of my most anticipated movies to watch! Can't wait! All the reviews are amazing so far and everything about it looks like a slamdunk sci-fi spectacle. We also posted the Olympics TV trailer + the movie theater tour from Lord & Miller. All that matters is you go experience this on the big screen together. // Continue Reading ›

Hilarious Official Trailer for 'Scary Movie' Reboot from Marlon Wayans
"I have been preparing for this for years." Paramount Pictures has unveiled the hilarious official trailer for the comedy spoof sequel Scary Movie, also known as Scary Movie 6 (or Scary Movie VI), reviving this spoof comedy franchise that ran for decades. It's a nice return because it's good to see all these recent horror movies spoofed in this funny way! "We're baaaaaack." The very first Scary Movie debuted in 2000 and the series continued on with sequels in 2001, 2003, 2006, and most recently in 2013 - it has been a full 13 years since the last one. This comedy sequel is a riff on the recent Scream 7 - the Core Four are back in the killer’s crosshairs and no horror movie IP is safe. Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Anna Faris, and Regina Hall reunite in Scary Movie alongside returning favorites and fresh faces to slash through reboots, remakes, requels, prequels, sequels, spin-offs, elevated horror, origin stories, anything with the word legacy in it, and every "final chapter" that absolutely isn’t final. 😱 Ha ha. The ensemble cast also includes Jon Abrahams, Lochlyn Munro, Dave Sheridan, Cheri Oteri, Anthony Anderson, Chris Elliott, Damon Wayans Jr, & many others. I hope this means spoof comedies are coming back! Between last year's The Naked Gun and this, we could use more of these - always good fun to laugh at how dumb everything is nowadays. Enjoy. // Continue Reading ›

The Actor Awards 2026: Michael B. Jordan + Jessie Buckley + 'Sinners'
"Just being in this room right now with all these people who've seen me grow up in front of the camera, and in these rooms..." –Michael B Jordan. As we inch closer to the Academy Awards ceremony (on March 15th in a few weeks), the next major set of winners have been announced. The 32nd annual SAG Awards (or Screen Actors Guild Awards) honor the finest performances from 2025, as chosen by other actors which means this is one of the most definitive lists of the very best of the year. They've changed their name and now it's known as The Actors Awards instead of SAG Awards. Actors know their profession better than anyone and are very particular about good performances. So who won this year? Michael B. Jordan from Sinners and Jessie Buckley from Hamnet took home the two top prizes, then Sinners surprised everyone by winning for Outstanding Ensemble Cast. All of this is a surprise because many journalists expected One Battle After Another to win along with Timothée Chalamet and Rose Byrne as well. The other big surprise: Amy Madigan from Weapons won for her creepy evil lady villain performance in that horror movie. Read on for the full list of winners from 2025 + be sure to watch any / all of the nominated films included below. // Continue Reading ›

Amusing US Trailer for 'Papa Bear' Comedy About a Girl and a Big Bear
"So tell me – how did you become a bear?" Blue Fox Entertainment has revealed an official trailer for a kids movie called Papa Bear, an amusing family comedy about a girl whose father turns into a big brown bear. Papa Bear is actually a Russian movie made by filmmaker Maks Maksimov that already released in Russia last summer. It has been retitled and completely dubbed in English for the US release, I guess to cover up the fact that it's a Russian movie. After a tragedy, dad Misha and his 12-year-old daughter Masha are forced to temporarily move to the old family home in the middle of a forest. Misha tries to help his daughter get used to the new life, but Masha has completely different plans. She does not like the village life... When a mysterious forest encounter transforms him into a bear—brought to life on screen by a real trained bear—Maria must protect her newly furry father from a determined local hunter. Starring Boris Dergachev and Eva Smirnova as father and daughter in this animal adventure comedy romp in the woods. Unfortunately they filmed this with a real trained bear instead of any CGI animal – though it all looks extra cheesy anyway. // Continue Reading ›
