"It's a big day. Now go. Stop wasting time." S&R has revealed an official trailer for an indie coming-of-age drama titled What We Find on the Road, marking the feature directorial debut of producer / filmmaker Chaysen Beacham. A summertime tale of self-discovery and the ties that bind us, the award-winning indie film opens in theaters this September. On his 18th birthday, TJ receives a key sent from his estranged ex-con father, unlocking an old '68 convertible and a challenge to drive across America – in hopes of repairing his family. Supported by a band of loveable oddballs and held together by humor and grit, TJ discovers that sometimes the longest road is the fastest way to home. Written by Bill Haney and directed by Chaysen Beacham, What We Find on the Road stars Finn Haney, William Chris Sumpter, Katherine Laheen, Paul Guilfoyle, and Ross Partridge. The film has screened at 23 film festivals around the world with a few awards. Looks like a nice indie road movie with some terrific performances to boot. And a funky old car. // Continue Reading ›
