
United Nations is working to provide assistance to ten million people affected by heavy rains and flash flooding in Iran.
The spokesman for UN Secretary-General, Stephane Dujarric said United Nations has provided 1.4 million dollars assistance for shelter, non-food Items, health and water and sanitation."
Dujarric said efforts are underway to mobilize additional humanitarian assistance for those affected.
