During his visit to Federal Ombudsman in Islamabad today (Thursday), he said Federal Ombudsman has a very pivotal role in dispensation of justice to the general public.
The President applauded the institution over quick redressal of public complaints.
On the occasion, the President was also briefed about the performance of Federal Ombudsman.

President Dr Arif Alvi has urged women parliamentarians and media to play their due role in spreading awareness in connection with breast cancer.
Addressing the women members from government and opposition side in Islamabad today (Thursday), he said timely diagnoses and treatment of breast cancer is of vital importance to protect other parts of body from the cancer.
He said lady health visitors can play an important role in creating awareness among women regarding breast cancer.
