Official Trailer for Doc 'Apocalypse in the Tropics' on Brazil's Politics
"With truth, we're building new politics in Brazil." Netflix has revealed a trailer for the documentary film titled Apocalypse in the Tropics, the official follow-up film from Petra Costa after making The Edge of Democracy back in 2019 (also excellent). She continues to film & follow Brazilian politics into an extremely tumultuous time when the right wing jackass Jair Bolsonaro is president and the chaos with everyone in the country. When does a democracy end, and theocracy begin? the film wonders. Costa's Apocalypse in the Tropics investigates the increasingly powerful grip that evangelical Christian leaders hold over politics in Brazil. Weaving together past & present, the film holds a mirror up to the rest of the world. With the savage clarity that defined her last film, Costa documents a time of kaleidoscopic confusion and fear with intimate observational filmmaking that braids together the personal, the historic and the mythic. As faith shifts from private refuge to public battleground, Brazil holds a mirror to a world where democracies are being ruined by the power of prophecy. It'll be streaming on Netflix worldwide later in July this summer. A must see for anyone who wants a glimpse into the utter insanity of right wing worldwide politics these days. Watch for it. // Continue Reading ›

Ryan Gosling Needs to Save Earth in Sci-Fi 'Project Hail Mary' Trailer
"If we do nothing, everything on this planet will go extinct." "You'll find a solution." "You are my solution." Amazon MGM Studios + Warner Bros have revealed the first official trailer for Project Hail Mary, the epic sci-fi space adventure movie from filmmakers Phil Lord & Chris Miller. This is the first new movie they've directed since making 22 Jump Street in 2014, along with "The Afterparty" series as well. Adapted from Andy Weir's acclaimed novel of the same name, this is the story of an astronaut who tries to save Earth while alone in outer space. The movie stars Ryan Gosling as Ryland Grace, who wakes up on a spacecraft at Tau Ceti with no memory of himself or his mission. But he figures out he was sent here to help save Earth and has to figure it out what to do entirely on his own. Co-starring Sandra Hüller as Eva Stratt, Ryland's superior, and Milana Vayntrub as Olesya Ilyukhina, his deceased Russian crewmate. This trailer gives away a TON of the movie, including a major reveal at the end. Looks like it's going to be phenomenal, which I am very excited about, but this shows too much too early. The CW and Fathom Events have revealed an official trailer for a cowboy romance movie titled Montana Mavericks, which is getting a theatrical debut in theaters this August. This Montana love story is basically a TV movie made for / by The CW, but they're upping the ante opening it in theaters for a few days first. Watch: Ride Along the Mauritania Railway in Breathtaking Short Doc
"Hop on board the 'Backbone of the Sahara' with filmmaker Macgregor for an incredible journey through the stunning Western Saharan landscape." Wow. Every shot in this is absolutely jaw-dropping. This short film originally debuted back in 2017, but was recently reposted by National Geographic on their channel and it's a breathtaking must watch. Directed and shot by cinematographer Macgregor, the 13-min film is titled The Mauritania Railway - Backbone of the Sahara. "One of the longest and heaviest trains in the world, the 1.8-mile beast runs from the mining center of Zouerat to port city of Nouadhibou on Africa’s Atlantic coast. The train is the bedrock of the Mauritanian economy and a lifeline to the outside world for the people who live along its route." The best "holy shit" shot is at 6:08. New Trailer for Hospital Nurse Thriller 'Late Shift' with Leonie Benesch
"Will the doctor come today?" Vertigo Releasing has debuted an official trailer for the Swiss film titled Late Shift, opening in theaters later this year. One of the best films I've seen this year - made by acclaimed Swiss filmmaker Petra Volpe. The original German title is Heldin, which actually translates to Heroine (a female hero), but they're not using this title for its international release. Late Shift originally premiered at the 2025 Berlin Film Festival earlier this year (here's my full review). German actress Leonie Benesch (seen in The Teacher's Lounge and September 5) stars as Floria, a dedicated nurse, tirelessly working in an understaffed surgical hospital ward. On this day her shift becomes a tense and urgent race against the clock. According to the WHO, the worldwide shortage of nursing staff is a global health risk. The film is both a respectful tribute to all care workers and a gripping plea for more humanity & social commitment. Last but not least, it shows how essential good care in the event of illness is for us all. Lead actress Leonie Benesch impresses with her powerful and captivating performance, which will leave everyone in awe of her emotion. Highly recommend catching up with this, mostly because it's a beautiful tribute to nurses. Still waiting for final US release date. // Continue Reading ›

Disney Announces Live-Action 'Lilo & Stitch 2' is Now in Development
"Should’ve known he couldn’t keep a secret..." 🏝 Happy 626 Day, Lilo & Stitch fans! (Aka "National Stitch Day"!) Disney has officially announced that a sequel to the live-action Lilo & Stitch movie is currently in development now - no release date set yet. The live-action version of the animated classic open in theaters worldwide in May 2025 earlier this summer. It was a huge hit (currently earned $914 million worldwide) and fans love it, so they're already happy to start making another one. The original Lilo & Stitch animated movie opened in 2002 and they actually did make a direct-to-home-video sequel for it back in 2005 titled Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch. Though I expect this live-action sequel to go in a different direction. 2025 Lilo & Stitch director Dean Fleischer Camp is expected to return with the cast: Maia Kealoha as Lilo, Sydney Elizebeth Agudong as Nani, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, with Courtney B. Vance, and Zach Galifianakis. This is just an announcement in celebration of "626 Day", confirming the sequel is in the works. But no other details are available just yet - stay tuned. Fun Trailer for Ridiculous B-Movie 'Jurassic Reborn' by The Asylum
"Get the hell off this island." And stay the hell away from this really, really bad dinosaur movie. The Asylum has revealed an official trailer for their next offering titled Jurassic Reborn, a boring riff on the upcoming Jurassic World: Rebirth movie this summer. Even after all these years later, The Asylum still loves to mock and make fun of all the Hollywood movies by making this knock-off B-movie crap. Someone is still paying to watch this! When cutting-edge research leads to the creation of living dinosaurs, a team of scientists on a secluded island must risk their lives to prevent the rapidly growing creatures from escaping & then attacking the mainland. Huh, this plot sounds familiar! But that's the point, obviously. Jurassic Reborn stars Daniel Baldwin, Danielle Titus, Esmeree Sterling, Bryan Scamman, and William Castrogiovanni. VFX have improved so much over the years they can put very cheap dinosaur VFX in this and they still don't look as bad as they used to in films. Lou Diamond Phillips & Malcolm McDowell in Comedy 'Et Tu' Trailer
"For the good of the theatre..." Buffalo 8 has revealed an official trailer for an indie dark comedy called Et Tu, a reference to the classic line "Et tu, Brute?" from Shakespeare's play Julius Caesar. The film is the first feature film directed by Max Tzannes, and it premiered back in 2023 at the Heartland Film Festival. After making this, he went on to direct the meta bigfoot movie Found Footage: Patterson Project. Both films are just now releasing back-to-back this summer. A director is driven to madness during a regional production of Julius Caesar. Every night for the past three weeks Brent has had to watch an awful play; his awful play, along with a small audience of local patrons in an old theater you've never heard of. Fortunately for Brent, that old theater you've never heard of, employs a Janitor who's been mopping the stage for a very long time; long enough to know a dark secret of the past that may help to rid Brent of his current troubles. Starring Lou Diamond Phillips, Malcolm McDowell, Antwone Barnes, Isabella Blake-Thomas, Rachel Alig, and Brennan Keel Cook. This looks clever and kooky and crazy! 'Eternal' Trailer - Underwater Fracture Sci-Fi Thriller from Denmark
"The fracture speaks. Can you hear it?" Dark Star Pictures has revealed the official US trailer for a Danish sci-fi thriller titled Eternal, which is the new English title instead of the original For Evigt. This seems to be yet another one of these climate change stories that is more about guilt and how to live on with love even when you know the world is collapsing. It premiered back in 2023 at the Les Arcs Film Festival, and opened in Denmark in 2024, and is finally getting a US release this summer including on VOD right away. Eternal is the story of Elias, a young climate change scientist who chooses career over love when he gets the chance to travel to the ocean floor to investigate a new fracture in the Earth making climate change worse. While down below, he begins to experience visions of the life he could have had if he had never gone – instead spending time with a woman he fell in love with. It stars Simon Sears as Elias, Nanna Øland Fabricius (aka the Danish singer "Oh Land") as Anita, plus Anna Søgaard Frandsen, Viktor Hjelmsø, Oscar Langer, and Magnus Krepper. Scandinavia has been churning out many epic disaster movies recently, but this one seems more intimate and personal - a story about love and family above all else. "To a new friendship!" "Cheers!" Bleecker Street has revealed the first look teaser trailer for a horror thriller dark comedy called Bone Lake, arriving to watch starting in October in theaters. This originally premiered at Fantastic Fest last year, but didn't show up at too many other fests since then. It's directed by Mercedes Bryce Morgan as her latest horror feature following Spoonful of Sugar and Fixation. Starring Maddie Hasson, Marco Pigossi, Alex Roe, Andra Nechita, Eliane Reis, and Clayton Spencer. Lots of fun critics' quotes packed into this teaser trailer, describing it as "steamy and twisted", and "an absolute blast from start to finish." Action Comedy 'Guns Up' Trailer #2 with Kevin James & Christina Ricci
"Is dad John Wick?" Vertical has unveiled an official US trailer for the action comedy movie starring Kevin James called Guns Up, set to open in July this summer. We already posted the international trailer for this a few months ago. It's the latest action movie creation made by director Edward Drake (of American Siege, Gasoline Alley, and the Detective Knight trilogy). A family-man ex-cop now moonlighting as a henchman for the mob has one night to get his family out of the city – and keep his dark secret hidden from his kids – after a job goes wrong. Kevin James stars as Ray Hayes, who was working as a mob thug and now needs to get his family to safety. Here's a tidbit from IMDb trivia: "Kevin James has stated that he got the inspiration for his performance by watching French bulldogs try to jump up on a couch. When they kept falling and were unable to get up, he immediately realized how to portray his sympathetic character in the film." Also stars Christina Ricci, Luis Guzmán, Francis Cronin, Kelly Landry, & Rob Gough. Have a fun time. // Continue Reading ›

New Trailer for WKW's 'In the Mood for Love' 2001 / 25th Anniversary
"There's nothing between us, but I don't want to gossip." Janus Films has released one more official trailer for the next re-release of Wong Kar Wai's beloved romantic classic In the Mood for Love, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. The film originally premiered at the 2000 Cannes Film Festival, and was first released in 2001 in the US. There was already a 4K restoration back in 2020, though now with the pandemic over it's time to give this a proper theatrical re-release. Don't miss it! Janus will screen the 4K restoration along with a rarely screened complementary short film titled In The Mood For Love 2001, which WKW originally showed during his Cannes 2001 masterclass. Two neighbors, a woman and a man, form a strong bond after both suspect extramarital activities of their spouses. However, they keep their bond platonic so as not to commit similar wrongs. It's described as a "a masterful evocation of romantic longing and fleeting moments. With its aching musical soundtrack & exquisitely abstract cinematography by Christopher Doyle and Mark Lee Ping-bin, this film has secured a place in the cinematic canon, and is a milestone in Wong's redoubtable career." Starring Tony Leung and Maggie Cheung as Chow Mo-wan and Mrs. Chan. This is such a gorgeous, special film. "Everything changed that night! Everything..." We haven't heard about this before, but that's because it's premiering at the Dances With Film Festival coming up this week, then there might be buzz. A photographer receives a tip that could shed light on her childhood UFO sighting, but a heatwave and some unexpected guests threaten to derail her investigation. Inspired by The Phoenix Lights, the largest mass UFO sighting in U.S. history, Star People is a sci-fi thriller that tells the story of a woman named Claire searching for answers about aliens. Starring Kat Cunning, McCabe Slye, Eddie Martinez, Adriana Aluna Martinez, and Connor Paolo. Open Relationship Comedy 'Splitsville' Trailer with Arjona & Johnson
"This is normal, right? People go through stuff like this in the first year of marriage?" "No..." Neon has unveiled the first official trailer for a kooky relationship comedy called Splitsville, the second feature from writer / director Michael Angelo Covino who also made The Climb back in 2019 (another crazy fun one). This recently premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival to mostly positive reviews, playing in the out-of-competition Cannes Premiere section. Splitsville picks up with Ashley (Adria Arjona) asking for a divorce, watching as the good-natured Carey (Kyle Marvin) runs over to his friends, Julie (Dakota Johnson) and Paul (Michael Covino), for support. He’s shocked to discover that the secret to their happiness is apparently an open marriage; that is, until Carey crosses the line and throws all their relationships into chaos. It's another movie making fun of how open relationships never work and always screw things up – but they're going to give it a shot anyway and we get to watch. Starring Dakota Johnson, Adria Arjona, Kyle Marvin, and Michael Angelo Covino, with Nicholas Braun and Charlie Gillespie. I caught this in Cannes in May and it's pretty good, but not great. Scary Trailer #2 for Zach Cregger's 'Weapons' - Where Did They Go?
"I want to know what happened in that classroom! Why just her classroom?!" 😱 This gets creepier and creepier. New Line Cinema / Warner Bros have revealed a second trailer for the extremely eerie & unsettling new film from Barbarian director Zach Cregger titled Weapons. No one actually knows where they went, what happened to them, what is really going on in this town. "An interrelated, multistory horror epic about the disappearance of high school students in a small town." At 2:17AM, a class of kids got up out of their beds and ran away – never to be seen again. But no one knows why or what happened after... The ensemble cast (of mostly parents wondering where their kids are now and who is to blame) includes Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Benedict Wong, Austin Abrams, Amy Madigan, June Diane Raphael, Whitmer Thomas, Toby Huss, and Clayton Farris as Terry. The first full trailer was creepy, and this one is even better - showing even more of the WTF craziness going on in this. Johansson, Miller, Beecham in Comedy 'My Mother's Wedding' Trailer
"What has happened to our mother? Why on earth would sh choose him?" Vertical has revealed an official trailer for My Mother's Wedding, a "heartfelt and funny" film marking the directorial debut of actress Kristin Scott Thomas. This first premiered back in 2023 at the Toronto Film Festival under the original title North Star, but has been stuck in release limbo ever since (currently with a rough 28% on RT - which might be why). Three sisters return to their home for the third wedding of their twice-widowed mother. But the mother and daughters are forced to revisit the past and confront the future, with help from a colorful group of unexpected wedding guests. This stars Scarlett Johansson, Sienna Miller, and Emily Beecham as the three sisters Katherine, Victoria, and Georgina; along with Freida Pinto, and Kristin Scott Thomas as the mother Diana. TIFF adds that KST "uses her own family history as a jumping-off point" for this story, featuring "richly drawn lives for each of its characters, and beautifully animated flashback sequences that pull you into the grief they're trying to leave behind." I'm not sure this fairly bland My Mother's Wedding is a better title than North Star, but I'm not sure a new title will get the film better reviews either. Take a look. // Continue Reading ›

With a small art house run beginning in Philadelphia, of all places, at PhilaMOCA. Realm of Satan premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival a few years back. It offers a glimpse into modern Satanists' daily lives and rituals, showcasing their devotion to Satan as a symbolic figure. "A singular portrait depicting Satanists in both the every day and the extraordinary Realm of Satan is a ritualistic documentary that casts a spell on viewers, luring them into a mystical world of magic, mystery, and misanthropy." The film marks the feature directorial debut of film editor Scott Cummings, and it contains near perfectly composed cinematography by DP Gerald Kerkletz showing us a slice of the life of these Satanist people. "This is the story of the birth, life, death, and afterlife of the video store." An offiical trailer has debuted for a documentary film / essay film titled Videoheaven, a tribute to and love story about video stores of the past. This is the second new doc out this year from director Alex Ross Perry, along with Pavements, and it's ready for release in theaters starting in July. Only playing at art house cinemas. This doc first premiered at the Rotterdam Film Festival (IFFR) then played at the Tribeca Film Festival this summer. Since the 1980s, the video shop has been a desperately necessary space for film culture. In Videoheaven, Alex Ross Perry tells the story of the neighborhood VHS video shop in order to consider wider, changing social histories, using appropriated footage from many sources. Featuring upbeat narration by Maya Hawke. The craziest part about this is that it's a full-on 3 hour film. He gets caught up in a standoff with his cranky neighbour, played by Lauren Holly in a role that's deliciously deadpan and totally unhinged. Described as a "twisted rural comedy about finding your roots and discovering that the person driving you crazy might be exactly what you need to finally grow up." With Lauren Holly & Brennan Clost, with Shaun Benson, Brittany Raymond, Paloma Nuñez, Jessica Greco, & Luke Humphrey. Looks like zany, absurd fun. // Continue Reading ›

Cody Lightning's 'Hey Viktor!' Meta Filmmaking Indie Comedy Trailer
"I keep risking everything, and I end up with nothing..." Monument Releasing has debuted a new trailer for the film Hey Viktor!, a meta comedy about filmmaking made by Cody Lightning. This premiered a few years ago at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival, and already opened up in Canada last year, finally getting a US release this year. This is kinda like a Kevin Smith movie but made by Natives. 25 long years after his time in the limelight, former child actor Cody Lightning tries to revive his life with a self-produced sequel to Smoke Signals (1998). Cody Lightning played Little Viktor in 1998's Sundance hit Smoke Signals, and this is a comedy about him also trying to figure out what his life means after that. He's forced to move home to his reserve in northern Alberta. When he learns his wife and kids are leaving him for a younger, more successful actor, he decides it’s time to make his masterpiece — writing, directing, & starring in Smoke Signals 2: Still Smoking, but with a documentary crew following his every misguided step. Also featuring Hannah Cheesman, Simon Baker, Adam Beach, Gary Farmer, Irene Bedard, and Colin Mochrie. Well this looks like good fun though I'm surprised it didn't play at Sundance like Smoke Signals did many years ago. // Continue Reading ›

Review: Boyle's '28 Years Later' Reinvents the Zombie Genre (Again)
"There are many kinds of death... and some are better than others." 💀 This is what happens when you get Danny Boyle & Alex Garland back together again! They will make more mad genius movies that push the boundaries of horror cinema and reinvent entire genres! Reunited after 18 years (they last made Sunshine together back in 2007), director Danny Boyle and screenwriter Alex Garland are ready to unleash 28 Years Later upon the world. This legacy sequel is a follow-up to their indie zombie movie classic 28 Days Later, wondering where things would be roughly 28 years after the rage virus wiped out the UK and how people, and zombies, would've evolved since then. I'm just going to say it – this is the best of the 28 movies. Yes it's even better than 28 Days Later, and a much better sequel than 28 Weeks Later. What I was not ready for is how Boyle once again reinvents the zombie genre by trying out new ideas. They even finally drop "zombie" into the dialogue at one point, as this unkillable rage virus has turned humans into something else entirely. // Continue Reading ›

Remember This in 2009? 'Trainwreck: Balloon Boy' Netflix Doc Trailer
"What if my stupid experiment kills my son?" Who remembers this story? Of course we all do... How could anyone forget?! Netflix has revealed an official trailer for the doc Trainwreck: Balloon Boy, the next in their Trainwreck series of unforgettable moments from history. A homemade flying saucer lifts off, and a 6-year-old boy might be inside. National panic ensues when the media begins to cover it non-stop — but what truly happened? This documentary investigates the real story of the Heene Family. It is made by filmmaker Gillian Pachter and delves into this breaking news story in October 2009. A dad claims his son is trapped in a runaway helium balloon - a "flying saucer" from his backyard. News helicopters follow the chase live once they spot the silver UFO. However, the balloon lands safely and there's no one inside, sparking outrage at the family as the story becomes one of America's most infamous hoaxes. The boy was just hiding in the attic all along. It makes me sad they had go to through this – especially when everyone really was safe and sound. // Continue Reading ›

Another true crime series, this is a fictional version of the story of American Amanda Knox who was imprisoned for murder in Italy. Lily Sullivan Stars in Cannibal Western Thriller 'Forgive Us All' Trailer
"If I can save you from doing what I had to... I'm going into that forest with you." Samuel Goldwyn Films has revealed an official trailer for the Kiwi neo-western thriller titled Forgive Us All, directed by Jordana Stott making her feature directorial debut. Made down in New Zealand, the new film is a post-apocalyptic survival tale involving cannibals, of course, because as they always do. Another bland direct-to-video movie to skip right over. A virus has made humans into violent cannibals known as Howlers. A woman sheltering in a mountain cabin must decide whether to help when a stranger on-the-run from the totalitarian G.M.A. organization arrives on her doorstep. The only escape from them is through the cannibal infested forest... Will they make it out alive? Starring Lily Sullivan, Callan Mulvey, Richard Roxburgh, Lance Giles, Bree Peters, Lawrence Makoare, Dean O'Gorman. Unfortunately this looks over-stylized & especially generic, a derivative cannibal concept mixed up with western tropes. Move along, nothing much to see here. // Continue Reading ›

New Trailer for German Family Drama 'Dying' Starring Lars Eidinger
"Everything I have to give is in this place." Picturehouse has debuted an official trailer for the upcoming UK release this summer of the German family drama film titled Dying – yes that's the direct translation from the film's original Sterben in German. This premiered at the 2024 Berlinale Film Festival and already won awards – including Best Film at the German Film Awards just last year. An epic and darkly funny symphony of family dysfunction, Dying follows the estranged members of the Lunies family as they wrestle with chaotic private lives. Lars Eidinger stars as an acclaimed conductor, juggling working and his parent and the rest of his family. It already played at tons of fests and has 100% on RT for now. Dying is a brilliant and sharply comic portrayal of a family unraveling...with outrageous consequences. The cast includes Lars with Lilith Stangenberg, Corinna Harfouch, Robert Gwisdek, Ronald Zehrfeld, Saskia Rosendahl, Anna Bederke, and Hans-Uwe Bauer. This is a fantastic trailer for Dying, setting up the family dynamic and emotional stakes and the clever humor, with a few critics' quotes offering glowing praise. Worth a look. // Continue Reading ›

Commandos on an Alien Spacecraft in 'Osiris' Action Thriller Trailer
"What are they after?" "They're hungry..." Vertical has revealed an official trailer for an action movie called Osiris, a sci-fi thriller about a group of soldiers trying to survive on a hostile alien spacecraft. It's directed by filmmaker William Kaufman, a former US Army Calvary Scout, who has made a bunch of action movies over the last decade most people haven't seen. In this movie, a team of Special Forces commandos are in the middle of an operation when they are abducted by a mysterious spacecraft. When they wake up aboard the extraterrestrial spaceship, they soon discover they are being hunted as prey by a merciless alien race. Uh oh. The full cast includes Max Martini, Brianna Hildebrand, LaMonica Garrett, Michael Irby, David B. Meadows, Linds Edwards, Tyler Galpin, Jaren Mitchell, Dawson Towery, and Stanley White Jr. Plus the OG Terminator badass heroine Linda Hamilton. First Trailer for Hitman Comedy 'London Calling' with Josh Duhamel
"It's a new era. You've gotta know when to put it down..." Quiver Distr. has revealed the official trailer for a crime comedy action thriller titled London Calling, the latest from Canadian filmmaker Allan Ungar. This initially premiered in the market at the Toronto Film Festival last year, and it's now ready for release in theaters in September later this year. After fleeing the UK from a job gone wrong, a down on his luck hitman is forced to babysit the son of his new crime boss and show him how to become a man. This sounds a bit like a new spin on the same story from Léon: The Professional, where this grizzled hitman has to watch over a kid and train him in the ways of being an assassin. Although this looks more like a direct-to-TV remake than anything actually worth watching. London Calling stars Josh Duhamel as Tommy Ward, Rick Hoffman, Aidan Gillen, Arnold Vosloo, Neil Sandilands, and Jeremy Ray Taylor as Julian. This kid looks fun. // Continue Reading ›

Sony Quietly Launches a 'RageLeaks' Viral Site for '28 Years Later'
"Captured from surveillance cameras. What purpose could this serve?" It's not often we get a chance to play around with a new viral website! Sony Pictures has quietly launched a special WikiLeaks style website revealing secret documents and images in promotion of the upcoming 28 Years Later movie. This zombie movie horror sequel is yet again directed by Danny Boyle, and written by Alex Garland, following up the original 28 Days Later horror classic from 2002. This viral website is called RageLeaks.net and currently contains 10 downloadable documents featuring audio, photos + messages including leaked emails & more. Obviously it's hinting that the rage virus isn't really contained... It's likely the plot of 28 Years Later will be some zombies returning and the virus spreading beyond the UK. The viral site also shows a map indicating that Ireland is infected in addition to the UK, but it's supposed to be contained in this (despite the ending of 28 Weeks Later showing the infected reaching Paris – but they "pushed it back" to the UK apparently). The movie opens in theaters worldwide this week - we'll know more soon! Until then, keep watching this site for any more new leaks - there's definitely more to come. Dermot Mulroney & Dom Monaghan in Western 'Long Shadows' Trailer
"You're asking for the grave." Quiver Distribution has unveiled an official trailer for a western called Long Shadows, another redundant American western drama about a batch of desperate people getting into even more trouble when everyone starts trying to kill everyone else. It's directed by actor William Shockley as his feature directorial debut, and also features former NFL star Tom Brady as a producer. When a young boy's mother and father are savagely murdered, he ages out of an orphanage intent on revenge, but the love of a girl and psychological trauma lead him down a mystifying path. In a rapidly modernizing American West, Long Shadows is the riveting story of a broken young man, a survivor of tragic violence, torn between his thirst for vengeance and love's redemption, & his soul so fractured reality itself is questioned. This western action thriller stars Dermot Mulroney & Dominic Monaghan, with Jacqueline Bisset, Blaine Maye, Sarah Cortez, Chris Mulkey, Anthony Skordi, and Ronnie Gene Blevins. Trapped in Their Own Apartment - Official Trailer for 'Brick' Thriller

Soon they found out that others in their apartment complex have the same problem. Without any chance of outside help, all of the neighbors must band together to find a way out. This seems like it's a riff on both Cube with The Platform, while also commenting on how society should learn to work together and we should be grateful for good neighbors. Or not.
