Full Trailer for Coming-of-Age Crime Series 'Boy Swallows Universe'

Netflix has unveiled the full official trailer for an Australian crime thriller / dark comedy series called Boy Swallows Universe, arriving for streaming in January on Netflix worldwide. This coming-of-age story of a boy named Eli is based on the iconic novel written by Trent Dalton, adapted by the acclaimed screenwriter John Collee (Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, Happy Feet 1 & 2, Son of a Gun). Set in 80s Brisbane, Australia, a precocious boy and his selectively mute brother embark on a suburban odyssey of love, redemption and retribution after their family is torn apart by a drug lord. The story revolves around Eli Bell, a working-class boy who heads into Brisbane's underworld to save his mother. Starring Felix Cameron as young Eli, Travis Fimmel as Lyle Orlik, Simon Baker as Robert Bell, Phoebe Tonkin as Frances Bell, along with Zac Burgess, Lee Tiger Halley, Bryan Brown, Anthony LaPaglia, and Sophie Wilde.
