
The FM was speaking to media where he said that the Indian PM’s message is tantamount to ‘better late than never’.
“We have to stay vigilant,” said the foreign minister, adding that any untoward move cannot be ruled out until May 19, the day India goes to vote.
On the question pertaining to Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto’s allegations regarding banned organisations, the minister said that Bilawal should tell himself what sort of action he recommends in such a situation.
“If he were in the government, what would he have done?... He should tell us in writing and we are willing to talk on this” said Qureshi.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Friday Indian Prime Minister Modi wished him ahead of Pakistan Day, March 23.
PM Imran in a tweet said that he received a message from his Indian counterpart, expressing good wishes for the neighbouring country.
“It is time that people of the sub-continent work together for a democratic, peaceful, progressive and prosperous region, in an atmosphere free of terror and violence,” said the Indian PM according to the tweet.

In his response the PM stated: “As we celebrate Pakistan Day, I believe it is time to begin a comprehensive dialogue with India to address and resolve all issues, especially the central issue of Kashmir, and forge a new relationship based on peace and prosperity for all our people.”
