Federal Ombudsperson for Protection against Harassment of Women at the Workplaces Kashmala Tariq says role of women carries great significance in development of a society.
Addressing a function to mark National Women's Day at Lok Virsa in Islamabad on Tuesday, the Federal Ombudsperson said we should facilitate and educate our girls to form an educated society.
Kashmala said our girls are very talented and we have to give them confidence so that they could play their role in the development of the country.
A large number of students from Islamabad based universities were present at the function.
Later, Kashmala Tariq handed over shields to young artists and writers.
