French Ambassador Marc Barety says French businessmen are willing to invest in different sectors in Pakistan.
Talking to Acting Senate Chairman Saleem Mandviwala in Islamabad, he expressed satisfaction over the security situation in Pakistan, which, he said, has improved a lot.
The acting Senate Chairman welcomed the remarks of French envoy, saying trade volume between the two countries needs to be increased and trade chambers could play active role in this regard.
He said the trade associations should be connected to their respective counterparts to explore the possibilities for bilateral trade and investment.
Saleem Mandviwala said Pakistan values its bilateral relations with France and desires to further expand the same through enhanced interactions at parliamentary and other levels.
