This is yet another horror movie in the never-ending Amityville series, and it looks just as forgettable as most of the other films. Did Amityville: The Awakening ever get released? It was shelved for years and never even saw the light of day. Anyway. This one takes us back to the beginning. On the night of November 13th, 1974, Ronald DeFeo, Jr. took his rifle and murdered his entire family as they slept. At his trial, DeFeo claimed "voices" in the house told him to kill.
