Watch: Proof of Concept for Genndy Tartakovsky's 'Black Night' Film

Meet the Black Knight. Animation master Genndy Tartakovsky has revealed a first look proof-of-concept promo for a project he has been working on. Tartakovsky is well known as one of the modern masters of animation, creator of "Dexter's Laboratory", "Samurai Jack", "Sym-Bionic Titan", "Star Wars: Clone Wars", "Primal", and "Unicorn: Warriors Eternal". His most recent movie was Fixed, which Netflix picked up and released this year after the studio dropped it. He has another project that is in limbo as well. Black Night is a project that Genndy was developing with Sony Pictures Animation. The intro: "After failing to protect his king, a highly skilled and faithful knight must transform into the Black Knight to save the kingdom." Set during the 14th century, this suit of armor is actually controlled by someone inside. Genndy explains Sony is unsure if there's an audience for it, so he went rogue and posted this clip on his Instagram hoping to show people and get a reaction from potential audience members...
