President Dr Arif Alvi has said that the Government is making all out efforts for improving sports facilities in the country.
He was talking to President of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Squash Association Qamar Zaman who called on him in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Dr Arif Alvi stressed that imparting employment opportunities to sportsmen is necessary so they can better contribute to national progress.
He said promotion of sports and healthy activities is inevitable for a better society. He said squash is a very popular game in Pakistan and it remained champion of the game for thirty seven years.
The President expressed the hope that the young players will also make their mark in the game through hard work.
